Position description
Advance Practice Providers on this service provide comprehensive care to patients who have undergone outpatient elective cardiac ablations, rhythm studies, cardiac device procedures, and cardioversions. Additionally, the APPs provide care to patients undergoing left atrial appendage occlusion from pre-procedure clinic to immediate post procedure care and follow-up clinic evaluation. This is a fast paced, dynamic practice that currently is staffed with two 13-hour shifts Monday-Friday and one shift on Saturday. Saturday coverage will be one out of five Saturdays. Overnight coverage is provided by the CICU APPs.
Qualifications

Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification, or eligible to be certified, as a FNP, ACNP or ANP.

Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice
