The Simulation Center is hiring Standardized Patients (medical actors) who are proficient in both the English and Somali languages.
Performs as patient for educating students in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, and other trainees. Participates in outpatient interviews for classroom and testing purposes. May be videotaped in both classroom and testing situations. May be asked to appear in educational videos
Previous acting experience preferred. Must meet certain clinical demographic specifications depending on case needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well within a team. Willingness to attend additional workshops to enhance skills as a Standardized Patient.
This position has a predetermined rate of $17.00 per hour.
Hours / Pay period
Hours will vary depending on work unit needs.
