This position allows you to utilize evaluation and treatment skills primarily with general populations including orthopedics. Patient populations include post-surgical orthopedics, acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine, and general physical therapy for patients of all ages and backgrounds. This position also includes opportunities for growth and development in pediatrics. Work closely with a team of highly skilled Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Orthopedic Surgeons, Family Practice Providers, and other health care professionals for the best patient outcomes.
Position description
Therapists are responsible for the application of current knowledge, theory, evidence and sound clinical judgment in patient management. The therapist works closely with the patient, family and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized patient care. Therapists also serve as advocates and promoters of health, wellness, and fitness to all stakeholders. They serve as educators and mentors for therapy students, peers and other medical professionals. The therapist assists with department and program planning. You will work with a team of 6 Physical Therapists, 3 Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists.
Graduate of approved School of Physical Therapy.

License or certification
Current Physical Therapy Licensure in the State of Minnesota. BLS Certification within 3 months of hire. An Iowa license will be required if working at Iowa facilities.

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.  The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2,805.60, based on a full-time position.
