We are seeking a Physical Therapist with desire to work in the inpatient hospital practice primarily on weekends.
The responsibilities of Physical Therapists include evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, and education of patients referred for Physical Therapy. Therapists also serve as clinical instructors for Physical Therapy Students and other medical professionals. The Physical Therapist works closely with the patient, family, and other members of a physician led team in providing individualized patient treatment. The Physical Therapist assists with department program planning and implementation. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university required.
An academic or professional doctorate is preferred (PhD, DSc, DPT).
Experience in in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred.
License or certification
Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
Current Arizona licensure as a Physical Therapist required. Basic Life Support education must be completed within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
This position has a predetermined rate of $48.83 per hour.

Weekend Position (Saturday and Sunday)
Minimum one weekend every 3 weeks.
