Mayo Clinic Health System in Southwest Wisconsin is seeking a surgical podiatrist who will provide a full spectrum of foot and ankle care. The Podiatric Surgeon will be proficient in a wide variety of podiatric surgical procedures including basic podiatric surgery, limb salvage, forefoot, midfoot, and ankle procedures, trauma management (calcaneal, ankle, fractures, etc.), and arthroscopy. ED and hospital consults as well as clinic outreach is expected. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, be interested and familiar in working within a multidisciplinary team approach, and have hospital-based experience.
Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare, is a multispecialty group/healthcare network employing more than 250 physicians and associate providers with a primary care population base of 240,000. The medical center in La Crosse has 250 beds, Emergency & Urgent Care Center (Level III), 24/7 Hospitalist Service, 16-bed combined medical-surgical ICU/CCU and cardiac cath lab. In addition to its main clinic/hospital in La Crosse, WI, we have a 25-bed critical access hospital in Sparta, WI, and nine other clinics located in western WI, southern MN, and northeastern IA within a 60-mile radius of La Crosse. This position would provide outreach services to other regional sites as part of the practice.

Home base will be Sparta, WI with outreach to Tomah and Onalaska or La Crosse. Position will take call 10 days per month.
