Position description
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Diasio to investigate pharmacogenomic associations with adverse events and disease outcomes in cancer therapeutics. Candidates will work as part of an interdisciplinary team that will include basic/translational scientists, clinicians, and systems biologists.

We encourage self-motivated individuals with an advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in cancer biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, genetics, or related fields to apply. Strong candidates will be proficient in mammalian cell culture and have experience working with tumor-derived organoids and/or iPS-derived cell models. Experience with bioinformatic and biostatistics approaches for analyzing genomic and epigenomic data is also preferred but not necessary for consideration. Preference will be given to applicants who will be entering their first postdoctoral fellowship.

A Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic is a temporary position intended to provide training and education in research. Individuals will train in the research program of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator. Qualified individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications and should become competitive for national research grants. Qualifications
Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
