Position description
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow interested in oncolytic virotherapy-immunology and clinical trials. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. or M.D. with basic back ground training in immunology especially T cell biology. Candidate will be working with banked or clinical trial samples from virus and gene therapy trials, conducting established immune assays (Flow cytometry, ELISPOT) and developing new cutting edge immune assays. Any experience in handling next gen sequencing data (e.g. RNAseq) is a plus. Candidates should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in virology or microbiology or cancer biology research is desired but not required.

A Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic is a temporary position intended to provide training and education in research. Individuals will train in the research program of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator. Please attach the following required documents at the time of application.

Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
Additional qualifications
Skilled in molecular biology, tissue culture, immune assays. Experience in molecular virology, fibrosis, inflammation and immunology techniques highly desirable.
