Position description
Works at the direction of the Licensed Social Services Coordinators and the multidisciplinary team to insure the needs of the residents are met.
Requires HS Diploma or GED. Minimum of six months, and preferably two years related work experience in a nursing home/geriatric setting preferred. Currently enrolled student in BS program pursuing a degree in a health related field such as nursing, social work, health sciences/professions, or related field.
Additional qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Social Services, or a related field preferred.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $15.09 per hour.

Schedule details
As needed and based on admissions to the Charter House Short-Term Rehabilitation Center. Role is shared with another technician.
The technician completes required admission paperwork on new patients coming on to the unit. The paperwork typically takes a few hours to complete per patient. The best time to complete the admission paperwork is usually in the afternoons or early evenings. This time frame works out best for the unit and patient.
Weekend schedule
Weekends are shared with another technician. Weekend coverage is worked out between the technicians. The admission paperwork takes a few hours and can be done at the technicians preference as long as it works out with the schedule of the patient and care team.
