Responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of speech/language therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited universary. Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship is required or prior experience is preferred. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of principals and practice of speech pathology. Knowledge of equipment utilized in the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of speech pathology. Decision making and problem solving. Team building.
Additional languages preferred.
License or certification
Current Wisconsin State License in Speech Pathology (as Speech Pathologist) and Certificate of Clinical Competence or be eligible for Clinical Fellowship granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Current BLS certification.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2372.80, based on a full-time position.
Monday through Friday 8:00 am -5:30 pm with occasional weekends
