Coordinates all care activities for the work unit for day-to-day operations. Is first line response for resolving issues for the patient, family, physician and other departments. Organizes workflow to meet the demands of the patient/family. Provides all clinical services related to the specialty. Serves as resource and role model for the other staff.
EDUCATION : ADN or Diploma in Nursing required.
EXPERIENCE : Minimum of two years in Nursing or integrated related Clinical Specialty required.BLS required; ACL preferred, or may be required in specified settings.
COMPETENCY: JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must possess basic physical and psychosocial assessment skills Must demonstrate proficiency in utilizing the nursing process. Must demonstrate knowledge of basic computer skills. ADDL CONSIDERATIONS: Must possess satisfactory physical and emotional health, (as evidenced by interviews, physical examination, and pre-employment drug screen).
Must receive satisfactory performance evaluations.
License or certification
Current Florida Registered Nurse License; Current IV and BLS-C certification.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
7:00am - 7:00pm; Three shifts per week - days vary
